Jocelyn Tsaih (b. 1992) is a Taiwan-born, Shanghai-raised artist currently based in Oakland, California. She received her BFA in Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts.
Tsaih’s work aims to touch on our universal human experience as well as what may be beyond it. The focal aspect of her work is an amorphous figure meant to be both a vessel for her own perspective as well as a reflection for viewers to bring their own insights to. Her work emphasizes our shared humanity rather than the distinctions that set us apart.
